Mr. Wynter is responsible for financial due diligence and transitioning acquisitions into the Global Equity Capital, LLC portfolio, and also manages financial reporting and other aspects of oversight of portfolio companies. Mr. Wynter was appointed to a senior finance position when The Gores Group acquired The Learning Company in 2001. He was then involved in a significant number of transactions for Gores, first the asset and entity divestitures of The Learning Company through August 2002, and then a number of additional acquisitions and divestitures, typically handling a portion of the transaction negotiations and financial due diligence. Before The Learning Company was acquired by Gores, Mr. Wynter held a variety of finance roles in the consumer software business with Mindscape, The Learning Company, Broderbund and Mattel, both in Europe and the US. He gained his accountancy qualification with Deloitte.

Mr. Wynter is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
