Mr. Aston is a member of Global Equity Capital's operating, due diligence and portfolio management team. Mr. Aston has over 25 years of experience in technology development, sales, management and executive management in both startup and turnaround environments. In 1998, while Mr. Aston was serving as Encore Real Time Systems’ President of Europe, the company was acquired by Gores. Since that time he has been involved in multiple transactions with Gores and Global Equity Capital, including both purchases and sales. His roles have included development, operating and oversight activities with Electronic Motion Systems, Brand-Rex, Verifone, Anker Systems, Real Software, and the European businesses of INMAC.
