Mr. Adkins is a member of Global Equity Capital’s operations group. He has over 20 years of management experience in the technology industry including with Micron Technology, and later with MPC Computers. When MPC Computers, LLC was acquired by a Gores Group affiliate from Micron PC in 2001, Mr. Adkins was named President and CEO, continuing in that role until after the company was acquired by Hyperspace Communications. He developed and managed the execution of all business aspects of MPC Computers, leading the company through a major transition from a consumer oriented company to a relationship business focused on the Commercial and Public sectors.

At MPC, Mr. Adkins successfully managed two acquisitions and returned the company to profitability within one year of assuming the CEO role. He managed the company as both a private entity and, after its sale, a public company, providing overall leadership and general corporate governance required in the public markets.

Mr. Adkins has extensive experience in acquisitions, operations, supply chain management, sales and marketing. He currently provides management oversight to several of GEC’s portfolio companies.

Mr. Adkins attended Coppers Cove, Texas Community College studying criminal justice and later Boise State University College of Business.
