Angela Blatteis
Managing Director

Mrs. Blatteis manages all aspects of Global Equity Capital’s transaction process, including deal sourcing and execution. Previously, she acted as a managing director in mergers and acquisitions for The Gores Group. After joining Gores in 1995, she was an integral part of the team for transactions including the acquisitions of Verifone, Aonix, HRIS, Daou, Global Tel*Link, the buildup of Intelliverse and the divestitures of The Learning Company, Applicon and Artemis, overseeing deal structuring and negotiation. Prior to Gores, Mrs. Blatteis held Vice President positions at Merrion Group, PLC and at Special Situation Investment Fund (an affiliate of Brooke Group Limited), responsible for financial analysis primarily of distressed or non-performing securities and was a strategic consultant for Safeskin Corporation for five years, through its sale to Kimberly Clark. Mrs. Blatteis was previously a Senior Financial Analyst at Cowen & Co. and an Associate in the M&A department of First Boston.

Mrs. Blatteis earned her B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and her M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago.
